Reminders:
Friday – Gates Open at
3:00; Racing Starts at 7:00 PM
Saturday – Gates Open at
2:00, Racing Starts at 6:00 PM
If you are not racing Friday, but wish to bring your
car for Saturday’s races, we will accommodate you
as best we can, but we need to have enough room in the pits for
Friday Night’s racers. We ask for your cooperation, if we need you
to relocate.
Overnight Pit Camping is allowed; we will clear the
Pit Area sometime Saturday early afternoon for re-admittance.
The showers in the Pit Area will be open
Camping
and Parking are First Come, First Serve. Campers began arriving
yesterday (9/21), so our words of wisdom are arrive early to obtain
a good campsite or good parking spot.
Ultimate
Race Fans and Purchasers of Advance Tickets must sign in at the
right side of the main ticket booth. Upon sign in, you will receive
your arm bands for the weekend. Ultimate Race Fans will receive
also a band for admittance to the Ultimate Race Fans Party and their
Event Shirts.
There are a lot
of excellent prizes for both the 50/50 and the two Frisbee tosses we
will be having. Make sure you purchase a 50/50 ticket on both
nights.
Coolers are
allowed to be brought in, however they need to fit in front of you
and not take up a seat space. No Glass bottles allowed.
On Saturday,
Admittance at 12:00 to the Grandstands will be allowed for Ultimate
Race Fans Participants and Advance Ticket Holders. For every
advance ticket you purchased, you can save 2 seats. (example – I
hold 2 advance tickets, I can save 4 seats) THIS WILL BE ENFORCED.
Any items left behind Friday Night will be removed Saturday Morning
to clean the grandstands.

The long range forecast at this point looks excellent. From
everything we have been hearing we expect a full grandstands and
full pit area. Please exercise patience and be courteous to your
neighbor. We are looking forward to a great racing weekend, and
this is not possible without every fan and competitor. Thank

As the preparation continues, here is some of the latest news
concerning events at the Fall Classic :
HOT LAPS:
Hot
Laps for ULMS Late Models and FASTRAK Late Models will be held
Friday, September 28th at 6:00 P.M.
Hot
Laps for BRP Superstocks and E-Mods will be held Saturday, September
29th at 5:00 P.M.
PRIZES: (Race Fans)
MCR
will be holding two separate 50/50 drawings over the weekend.
Friday's drawing will be for cash and 2nd prize will be a gas card
donated by Kwik Fill. In addition to Cash for
Saturdays 50/50 winner, MCR has lined up some pretty cool bonus
prizes, which will be given away following the ULMS Priority Care
Race Fans 50. They are:

CONTINGENCY AWARDS (Racers)
MCR is
currently gathering awards for the racers, and we have the following
donations for the FASTRAK race:
Goodyear Racing Tires (45's and 50's) 1 each for each heat race
winner, 1 each for each dash winner, 1 to the driver finishing 24th
(last) and 13(1 each) to drivers finishing positions 4-17 in the
feature. These tires were donated by Goodyear of Akron, Ohio
and a special thanks to Larry Robinson.
Feature Finishers 1-3 will also receive a special Gas Card.

OTHER NEWS:
Campers are reminded that there are a limited number of water/sewer
hookups available on a first come, first serve basis.
Breakfast will be served at 8:00 AM in the Grange Building on
Saturday, the 29th by Fox's Pizza. MCR will have donuts,
coffee and orange juice on sale as well.
Don't
forget to order your advance sale tickets or an Ultimate Race Fans
deal. Not only will you be guaranteed a seat, you will get
admission at 12:00 Noon Saturday to reserve your favorite seat.
Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.

7/19/07 - MCR is pleased to announce
a FASTRAK $1,500 to win Northeast Region Touring Event has been
added to the schedule for August 25th. "Our last FASTRAK
regional show was very, very good." stated Promoter Ken Leet, "the
racing was great, there was practically a blanket over the top 6 all
night. Although John Lacki led all 25 laps, Todd Andrews was
basically beside him for 20 of those laps, add in the great races by
Dick Barton, Alan Dellinger and Greg Oakes and MCR couldn't wait to
schedule another event." Full Details will be posted soon.
In other news, The McKean County Fair Board will be
holding their annual BRP Can Am Race during the Fair and this year,
the winner of the Superstock race held Thursday August 2nd, which
will be the makeup for the Jason Dunham Memorial Race will be
a guaranteed starter. The Fair Show normally draws close to 40
cars and it will be nice for one person not to have to worry about
transferring into the A Main.
5/7/07 The FASTRAK Late Models will
once again operate on an Open Tire Rule for Saturday Night's (May
12) regular program. We have been informed by Goodyear that
they are making tires, however their will not be adequate supply for
this weekend.
(4/25/07) The purse for the Jim Duffy
Memorial 25 will be as follows : 1) $1,500; 2) $800; 3) $500; 4)
$400; 5) $370; 6) $335; 7) $315; 8) $300; 9) $270; 10) $250; 11)
$235; 12) $225; 13) $200; 14) $170; 15) $165; 16) $160; 17) $155;
18-24) $150 - Tow Money for Non-Qualifiers $75.00.
This race will be ran under FASTRAK
rules for a touring event.
(4/15/07) MCR and The Hill Raceway
are pleased to announce a combined points fund for the street stock
and mini stock classes for 2007. Each track will have its own
point fund similar to 2006, but the tracks will also combine points
and award the top five in each class as follows:

(3/15/07) MCR has worked out an
arrangement with its insurance company that will allow drivers under
the age of 16 to participate with their parents approval.
Drivers ages 14 & 15 will be allowed to compete in the Mini Stock,
Pure Stock or Grocery Getter Classes. Drivers Age 14 must
provide documentation to show they have had previous racing
experience (Charger Class, AMR, Other) MCR will have parent
consent forms at the track. If you have any questions, send an

(3/12/07) MCR attended the recent
FASTRAK seminar in Hermitage, PA. At the meeting, MCR met with
FASTRAK founder Stan Lester and have worked out an agreement that
will allow racers the flexibility of running Goodyear 45's or
Goodyear 50's on a weekly basis with no restrictions of where the
tires are ran. These are the same two compounds that will be
used for the touring events. MCR is working to get CRS in
Eldred a supply of both 45 & 50's. In addition, MCR has
committed to three touring events for the Northeast Region.
Dates are the April 28th Jim Duffy Memorial; June 16th, the meat in
the sandwich between Friday Nights Raceway 7 and Sunday Nights Eriez
Speedway's show's; and September 28 and 29, as part of the Fall
Classic weekend, the Don Hardy Memorial. For more details,

(2/26/07) MCR was very pleased with
the interest shown in our participation in the Kinzua Outdoor Show
at the Bradford Mall. We would like to thank everyone who came
over and visited our booth. We would also like to thank Vic
Vena and Jason Dupont for displaying their cars! We look
forward to seeing everyone at the 25th anniversary R&R promotions
Motorsports Expo at the Olean Center Mall From Friday, March
3-Sunday, March 5th.
(2/19/2007) In Preparation for the
upcoming Outdoor Show at the Bradford Mall, MCR has put a wrap on
its 2007 Schedule. MCR will have Schedules available for
handout at the Mall, as well as the schedule posted
here. In addition the 2007
edition of the FASTRAK rules have been posted from FASTRAK.
(1/25/2007 ) Practice for all classes
will be held April 21st at 2:00 until dusk. This will give
teams a chance to test their equipment in advance of opening night
on April 28th.
(1/18/2007 ) MCR continues to
tweak its 2007 schedule and the latest change is the addition of a
T3 All Star Series Modified Show on Thursday, July 12. The T3
Series consists of 358 Modifieds that tour around the Northeast Part
of the Country. The 2006 champion of the series was Billy Van
Pelt, brother of MCR starter Tony Van Pelt. On the card with
the T3's will be E-Mod's, Street Stocks and Mini Stocks. The
E-Mod and Street Stock races will include a beefed up purse to

(12/27/2006) MCR is pleased to announce that
Priority Care will once again be the title sponsor for the 2nd
annual Fall Classic. "We are very pleased and appreciative of
the support Priority Care has shown MCR" stated Tom Gleason.
"Once again, they have stepped up and purchased the naming rights
for the 2nd annual ULMS Priority Care Race Fans 50. Our goal
this year is to sell more race fans packages than last year and
increase the Super Late Model Purse. This is one of the
important steps to help insure the success of the Fall Classic."

for $100.00 which will entitle them to 2 grandstand admission's, 2
adult event shirts, a pre-race catered party and victory lane

(12/17/2006) MCR has agreed to host 4
ULMS Late Model Shows in 2007. They will be June 7th (Thursday) - Nancy Bly/Hazen Jordan
Memorial, June 28th (Thursday) - Dave Lundgren Memorial, August 2nd
(Thursday) - Stephanie Eckl Memorial and the 2nd Annual Fall Classic
- September 28th and 29th. "We are pleased to have Chris Zuver
and the ULMS series returning to MCR to sanction all of the Super
Late Model Shows" stated Ken Leet, MCR promoter. "Not only
does Chris do a great job with his series, he handles the media work
for the speedway and does a great job"
It should be noted that the June 28th
Dave Lundgren memorial is scheduled but is subject to change based
upon the results of the Stateline Speedway World of Outlaws show
scheduled for Wednesday June 27th. "Stateline and WoO have set
a rain date for Thursday the 28th. Obviously we don't want to
run against that show, so in the event that Stateline needs to use
the 28th, we will move the Lundgren Memorial to Thursday, July 5th."

host the ASCA Patriot Sprint Cars on May 12th.
Also on the card will be a special Kids Night program along with the
FASTRAK Late Models, Superstocks, E-Mods, Street Stocks and Pure
