3rd Annual MCR Fall Classic

September 25, 26th  & 27th, 2008 - Rain Date Sunday, September 28, 2008

Alternate Race Weekend (in the event of total rain out) - October 4th and 5th
 

 

 

 

 

 

MCR would like to thank all the Fans and Competitors for their participation in the largest ever event at the 25 year old speed plant.  "We look forward to the event in 2008 as we have already started to discuss changes we will make to improve the event." stated Ken Leet, MCR promoter.  "Most definitely the ultimate race fan deal will be back, as well as a slightly changed three day event featuring Open Late Models, FASTRAK Late Models, BRP Can-Am Supers, E-mods, Street Stocks and Mini Stocks.  We were really pleased with most of the events and activities for the weekend, especially the large number of campers and fans on Saturday.  Stay tuned for additional announcements regarding the 3rd annual fall classic" 

 

MCR sets early goal of 200 Ultimate Race Fans Participants.  Please click here to reserve your spot now.  Ultimate Race Fans will receive 2 adult grandstand or 1 Pit Pass for the weekend. 2 event shirts, catered lunch on Saturday and early admission for the 3rd annual ULMS Priority Care Race Fans 50.  The cost remains unchanged at $100.00

Bob Close and Chub Frank engaged in a fierce battle during the mid stages of the race.  Frank ended up winning while Close was 2nd.

WoO Star Rick Eckert finished a solid 3rd in his 1st appearance at MCR

Rick "Boom" Briggs came on strong in 2006.  He placed 7th in the fall classic
